Civic Engagement Using Multimedia
Community Connections Course - The goal of this project is to help high school students will research a civic, environmental or historical issue impacting their community or highlight a celebratory aspect of their community. They will use Web 2.0 and multimedia tools to research and communicate at least one of the three components the project: Introduction, Analysis, Conclusion. The goal of this project to help youth apply traditional learning concepts like research and newer concepts like visual literacy to think critically, create a dynamic and thoughtful commentary about their communities.
